I had lost my job and apartment. My three kids and I bounced from shelter to shelter until I heard of JHFIRE. With their help I was able to get a great home while I secured a new job and got back on my feet.

We build homes, we build them back, and we build them better. We put smart homes in poor neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are invisible to society at large.

To create a safe, respectful, and sustainable living environment for homeless and people in crisis by equipping them with their own home to make them feel a sense of pride and ownership.

Our Programs
JHFIRE. offers a number of programs designed to help families get back on their feet. Our guiding principle is to build back better.
General Housing Support
We offer affordable housing for those families in need. Our program offers families a path to home ownership. We offer financial support to those families with no income for up to a year.
Mothers Housing Bridge Program
We offer a group home for single mothers who have no income. This group home with mothers and their children, is to support the well-being of mothers and to help them feel safe and secure inside their home. These groups of women work as a team to keep the house in order and running. JHFIRE. is the owner of the dwelling while tenants retain ownership of their individual property. JHFIRE. offers this program for six months to a year while the mothers get back on their feet. This program may be extended to a maximum of five years if they decide to become part of the JHFIRE. team. If they happen to become a permanent employee, they will hold a living space with inside the home as part of JHFIRE. community service.
